SHADOW BOXER is his directorial debut with short fiction.
"The film is based on a dream I had shortly after becoming a single parent.
I woke up with a very clear vision of the film's last scene, and immediately wrote what I imagined would lead up to that, creating the outline for the story.
It wasn't until much later I realized, that the characters of the story were a mix of my own children, myself as a parent, and myself as a kid.
Because of this, it was always my vision, that the film was for both kids and grown-ups"
